For adjusting mileage reading on the display unit of most instrument clusters for most car made/models you will need to:
A good Serial Programmer , such as UPA-USB , x-prog ... etc. ,then you need to edit the hex values of the mileage bytes that are located on the dump file of the odometer's memory, to edit dump files and change mileage values to the new needed value, you will need to use mileage calculators to calculate the hex values of the new wanted mileage to be written to the memory device by using the serial programmer.
